As can be read in the press release from the PVC Recycling Campaign, the Demolition and Dismantling Conference was a great success this year, too. There seem to be no limits to the growth in exhibitor and attendee numbers.
The German Demolition Association once again put together a varied programme of presentations and, above all, engaged a highly regarded opening speaker: The well-known physicist and science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar spoke about the use of artificial intelligence in the demolition industry. The talk highlighted many interesting aspects and exuded an optimistic attitude for our future. Mr Yogeshwar is convinced that the world is constantly getting better and his new-born grandson, who stands a good chance of experiencing the 22nd century, will experience the solution to many of today’s problems.
He interest among visitors to the PVC Recycling Campaign stand was once again great and many interesting discussions about recycling PVC construction products were held.
Visually, the stand had also improved; Fotoboden from Kaarst made us a PVC floor covering, which is otherwise excliusively laid by the clever flooring fitter, who was placed on the back wall of the stand by the painter Moritz Götze. Incidentally, this floor covering will not be recycled, but reused at the next opportunity.
