AgPR News Campaign PVC Recycling Providing Information for the Demolition Sector Successful Appearance at Europe’s Biggest Industry Get-Together

Berlin/Bonn (dialoginar): In mid-February, the Campaign PVC Recycling presented established recycling methods as a solution for selective dismantling at the 25th Demolition Conference in Berlin. The initiative, involving AgPR, AGPU, IVK Europe, KRV, Rewindo, Roofcollect and VinylPlus® as partners, was once again represented at the international industry get-together with a joint stand to inform the delegates in depth about nationwide PVC recycling solutions. It is an offer that is meeting with steadily growing interest among demolition companies: “Whether floor coverings, roofing membranes, windows, doors, shutters, tarpaulins or pipes, the demand in the demolition sector for recycling methods for our PVC products is constantly rising. In addition to familiar faces, this year we also welcomed many new guests to our stand and the number of contacts with potential clients rose markedly again,” said Michael Vetter, Managing Director of Rewindo. Karin Arz, Managing Director of IVK Europe and Roofcollect, and Dr. Jochen Zimmermann, Managing Director of AgPR, who were also represented on the stand, were also pleased with the event.

Successful Format with Steady Growth

Steady growth, which Europe’s biggest meeting of the demolition industry can also declare for itself as an event: In his opening speech, Andreas Pocha, Managing Director of the German Demolition Association (Deutscher Abbruchverband - DA), which organises the event, said “In the 25 stagings of the Demolition Conference, there have been around 12,300 delegates and around 1,370 exhibiting companies and exactly 478 presentations. For the anniversary, we once again recorded increased popularity. The threshold of more than 1,000 delegates was crossed and the enlargement of the exhibition space rented by more than 30 per cent in comparison to the previous year emphasises that the Demolition Conference is accepted by the industry”. Alongside the specialist exhibition, the conference offered a broad spectrum of specialist presentations after the keynote address from CDU politician Wolfgang Bosbach. The programme also included the awarding of the Innovation Prize and a discussion evening.

New Flyers, Revised Website

For this event, the representatives of the Campaign PVC Recycling also took along a new flyer in German and English containing all the relevant and contacts. This also applies to the completely revised website with a new look that helps owners of waste to find a recycling solution. Often, it is only one click away.
